The problem is that why in person application can be decided in couple of hours but postal should take ages? It seems that they can process the applications much quicker. About Canada, there is no in person application there. In addition, it takes years but finally you get permanent residency and no...

The starting point for taxable profit is the profit shown in accounts drawn up in accordance with UK Generally Accepted Accounting practice. That figure may then need to be adjusted to take into account specific tax reliefs and adjustments provided for by statute and case law. And that's the differ...

HMRC says about Self-Employed Accounting: You or your accountant can, if you wish, use these records to create a profit and loss account. It shows the sales income you've received and the expenses you've paid, and what profit/loss you've actually made . The more detailed records you keep, the easie...

max2k12 it is not as easy as you think. In commercial accounting we dont have cash profit and what is reflected in p/l statement is accrual profit. If you check p/l statement of big companies billions of pounds are not cash profit and actually accrual profits. It does not mean that you can make up p...

I did not mean that you can tell lie after application. What I meant is that when you apply you are claiming based on the fact at that time. Net profit is something calculated based on accrual rules in Accounting and some part of it is projection and not actual. Therefore, it is very common that tod...

It is wrong. According to the rules that he mentioned already, net profit can be counted as an income provided that you have enough documents for that.

Hi No it is not true. When you are applying for any kind of visa you have to tell truth at the time of application not afterward. If your documents are genuine and you can prove that at the time of application your self employment income is £20K it is fine. What is happening after that it is irrelev...

Tier 1 visa only and only can be revoked due to General Ground for refusal such as false document, false information, etc. Tax problems are not regarded as General Ground. It is something be...

There are new slots released each mid night but they are going very fast and usually the system does not work at midnights. You should keep trying to find a cancellation. So far, the slots until 12th Feb have been released.

Please ask to a solicitor and apply for appeal. Here there are some ordinary and non professional people who share experience. No one can give you a clear reply unless s/he view your case carefully.

Do not call. Send an email to ApplyOnlineE-Support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk with scan of your visa and ask them to reschedule to a better date. I heard of someone who could fix it by sending an email. Call center does not deal with appointment matters.

Immigration Officers ask any sort of questions and it is not only for Tier 1 G. It is a matter of chance. There has been many times that I was questioned about irrelevant matters and there has been times that I passed the gate without any question.

Thank you all. I only worry that caseworker will say you made false statement in the previous application. However, the mistake was very minor (only 1 day) and actually visa officer had the qualification on hand and therefore I was unable to deceive him.

The explanation is that I am thinking you are right. As you have a sole shareholder and this is confirmed in accountant letter, you can claim the net profit of the company as stated in the guidances and you yourself copied that part from guidance.
