Migration advice for doctors

Dear experts,

My friend from Venezuela is a doctor and would like to know if there is a short cut for him to get into the migration process easily.

As I know medics were in the shortage list in the UK is that still the case?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I have now received the application form for the British passport but I have a question: If I am applying under naturalization, why is there a section with my parents details on the form as if I am applying under British parents rule? I look forward to clarifying this please. T...

Son to apply for naturalization and father away

Dear Experts,

We are applying for BC and my son's father lives in another country and I'm separated and now married with someone else.

On the form MN1 there are questions about the biological father concent.

What should I do? Just sign myself and explain that the father lives away

Thanks

Finally we have our referees and just wanted to double check if this is OK.

One of them is a Irish passport holder priest and the other two are british passport holders, a teacher and an architect.

Thanks in advance

Dear experts,

Would be OK for HO to use the same referees for a whole family, father, mother and son?

Thank you in advance

One more question if that's OK.

I'm planning to register my 12 yo son after we apply for BC, is it acceptable if his passport is expired at that moment?

Hi experts, I was reading the Residence requirements Annex B and there is something I still do not get regarding point 3. Presence in the UK at the beginning of the 5 years qualifying period. Hi, cosmos. Is your son present in the uk now? If he is, then once you apply for naturalisation, you may also consequently apply for his registration as British Citizen (under section 3(1)). You need not wait for your naturalisation approval before doing this. How old is your son, by the way? It's ...

If your son was born before you got your ILR and also your wife has ILR your son is entitled to register as a british citizen by filling the MN1 form I should think. Dear blay1, I have checked MN1 link below and says that 'under discretion' they kids of a parent who gets BC can be naturalised. So a...

BC application for a family

Hi experts,

My question is regarding a family application.

As much as I've been able to read, could you please confirm this is correct:

I'll be the main applicant with my husband. In total we need 2 referees and after the BC is granted we register our son? Is that right?

Many thanks in advance

Dear all, Another question after reading the requirements for BC, is this: They ask for evidence of exercising treaty rights and on the last year of the qualifying period I've been claiming job seeker allowance. Do you know if I have to present a letter from Jobcentre/HMRC or just take the documents...
