UKBA abruptly closed Tier1 G migrant route for overseas candidates on 23rd dec 2010.

Are there any chances of reopening it?

by consultant, i mean small companies which sponsor us the Tier-2 visa and then deploy us on thier clients location in UK. Just like sposors for H1B visa in US.

hi, same is the case of mine.. i had also applied online from india on 22 dec and booked appointment of 5 jan 2010. but when i went to vfs yesterday with all my documents, they refused to take my application :( i think now, we have to accept the hard fact that tier-1 is closed for us and nothing can...

ummm.. i didn click on the link..i just saw if online appointment can be taken from india...and the site i had mentioned accepted my application (containing personal details only) sucessfully..
as per your advice, ll call vfs tomorrow and check if they support online application.

yes..i have applied from india and the country name is in the list from where can i apply online.. the site successfully accepted my application. just that it didn give me the option to pay.. so i will make payment on the day of appointment. will my application be considered, as i have not submitted...

does this mean the following:

if i submit bank statement and payslips as proofs then,

gross salary in payslip: x
net salary in payslip: y
amount in bank statement: y

so while calculating points, they will consider x or y?

one more doubt....does UKBA verifiy with my employer1, if i am working as individual contractor with some other company? because if i am permanent employee of employer1, then it prevents me to work in any form with other company..
because if UKBA verifies, then employer1 can fire me..
