Just to provide a quick update. Went for NCS today and while there, they phoned the UKBA Nationality helpline and obtained the Test Number. So they have a way to check that you definitely took the test and passed or failed etc. You don't have to take the test again if your Certificate is lost or st...

Nationality Checking Service

Is it worth using this service for British Citizenship Applications through your local council ? I understand your documents are given back to you and don't have to be sent to the UKBA in this instance, has anybody used this service and if so how long did your application take ?

Applying for ILR on SET (O) Form - Success

Dear All,

Have received back today Wife's Passport with Indefinite leave to Remain.

Submitted in Early Feb, received back in Mid March.

Now hoping to apply for British Citizenship asap, as eligible to do so.

LOST LIFE IN THE UK TEST CERTIFICATE

Did anyone take their Life in the UK Test at the test centre in Ilford Library ? if so can they remember the name of the company that used to administer the test ? They are no longer there any more and Life in the UK helpline are telling me they don't keep any records of past test centres ?
