Which highlights how some 'public' sector banks and the highly reputed multinational banks fail to satisfy such simple requests of account holders. I applied using statements from 3 banks - ICICI, HDFC and ING Vysya. The best bank in customer service turned to be ING as they still treat the customer...

What is the affect of the limit on successful Admin reviews.

I got my refusal overturned by a letter dated 24th Nov.

I have submitted my passport to VFS on 1st Dec.

Can one guess how does the limit work in this scenario?

Does this reduce the chance to get a visa vis-a-vis someone who may have scored more than 100 points. 100 is a cutoff meaning all men are equal beyond that point. Probably you should search the forum be...

I have consulted few 'Visa agencies' and in general they are of the view that this process is a money making business for UKBA. Probably the above argument helps these 'agents' as they cajole the applicants to use their services and get paid almost equivalent to the Visa fees in return. But the way ...

Once you are granted Visa against the same application, it does not mean it was rejected.
Getting a Visa after an appeal implies you were never really rejected!

When you apply for your wife, that time depending on whether you are in UK or in India, you would need to show 1600 GBP for her and 2800 or 800 GBP for yourself. Filling the application form does not mean that you are committing that your spouse won't join you in the UK within 1 year. At the time of...

That would mean roughly a 30% approval rate (or less) based on your info alone as the cap wasn't reached in September. Yes. that's correct. But you also need to see the data for administrative review. 20% of the AR applicants in 2009 were able to secure the Visa.(source UKBA) That roughly translate...

I assume if the employer is giving him a letter stating the 'future pay', then it would appear the same in the latest salary slip. When I say 13 salary slips, it means logical 13 slips. There need not to be 13 paper slips for the same. If the caseworker would scrutinse the application, then he could...

Your "Gross salary" is counted towards your earnings. The amount deposited in the bank is counted as a proof of the 'Net amount' paid to you by the employer. Thus 'Net amount in salary slip' should be = 'Amount deposited in the bank'. Thus adding 12 months Gross salary should give you the ...

Earnings can be claimed for a 12 month period. Thus even in case someone gets paid in advance within a legitimate '12 month' window, that would not count as 'earnings' towards points. What this means is you can claim earnings for 12 salary slips only!! Hope this makes it clear that in case you want ...

You can apply for spouse's Visa anytime without any job offer.

She does not need to show 'English proficiency'.!

All the best. Read the guidelines. If you yourself have applied for Tier-1 and secured the visa then spouse's Visa should be a cakewalk!
