At the end the real problem is no one knows the real answer. Our case is a little weird (I think) so it doesn´t fit in a particular place. The last time in HO the told us about this option and now the only think we can do is wait :( you don't fit in a neat little box, your girlfriend is an OFM, but...

An EU national will not get a residence card. That is for non-EEA national family members. As Bulgarians are EU nationals, that will not be issued to them. Have you read the guidance document? http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/bulgariaromania/guidanceforbulgariaromania0...

some embassies will accept personal translations, but I would suggest that they be done by an translation office in the country that your future MiL resides, generally this is usually much cheaper than doing it in the UK, you could translate and perhaps a solicitor who can verify the translations co...

Well, my understanding is the this right to live 'wherever he wishes' within EU as you said is at some extent correct, however, for Immigration purposes, the HO defines that after 5 years exercising treaty rights he is actually given the PR status, so please check your facts. If you are not an EU ci...

Re: BC- Children born in UK, Father is EEA Citizen living UK

Registered WR on May 2006, worked from May 2006 to October 2010. Unemployed-looking for work 3 months (with prove of this) Self sufficient with Comprehensive...

If a sponsor needs to claim more public funds to support the applicant, you must refuse the application. For example, if the sponsor claims income-based jobseeker’s allowance and this would increase if their dependant was granted leave as their spouse. You must refuse the application under the relev...

Does the deafening silence mean no-one has any actual legal evidence (as opposed to anecdotal evidence or hearsay) that it is safe for a sponsor to claim child benefit for a child subject to "no recourse to public funds"? Mark :? P.S.: For what it's worth I've written to the Home Office. ...

Not necessarily, the devil's in the detail. isn't pregnancy/childbirth a valid reason? maternity leave has to be employment? so to speak, is the OP not retaining the status of worker? the EHIC and CSI is a bit of a minefield ~ as a returning Brit the NHS serves as ...
