Re: Previous Tax checks for ILR

Hello Everyone, I am currently on Tier 1 General Visa and my ILR is due next year. The income I showed for my Tier 1 application and extension and the Income I declared in Tax Returns are exactly same (2012/2013 and 2013/2014). No difference. So after that I have arranged a monthly Direct Debit Pay...

Re: Previous Tax checks for ILR

It is advisable that you keep your tax affairs up to date with HMRC. If you haven't paid the tax yet I'll suggest you pay it asap and then follow up with HMRC if that is reflecting in their records.

Re: Class 2 National Insurance not received - 10 year ILR

Hi It doesn't matter if you haven't done your self employment work since 2012. You are still liable to pay Class 2 NI if you are registered with HMRC. If you you are already registered with HMRC then you should definitely follow up with HMRC if Class 2 NI is something you require for your ILR on 10y...

Re: ILR for UK born child?

Hi

You have two possible options here:

1. You can directly apply for your child's naturalisation immediately after you receive your ILR.
OR
2. You can apply for your child's ILR along with yours.

Both the above options are available for you to choose from. Whichever suits you best follow that.
