My Tier 1 General visa is valid till July 2012. Since my visa was issued in 2009 I did not enter the UK. Is there any possibility to get a visa extension if I enter the UK before the visa expiry date, or do I have to downgrade to Tier 2 in any case now given the PBS was cancelled?
