Re: 7 Year old boy born in UK

UPDATE: My son was granted 2.5 years leave to remain based on 7-year rule. Next step is for me, my wife and other son to apply. I was thinking to go for the priority service ( a lot of money. over 9k in total). I have been told that it is possible to do it but not sure if this is the best way. Any s...

Re: 7 Year old boy born in UK

I feel it is likely that in the interim while the decision is being made for your child that the Home Office will start making enquires into you and your wife. This as an outside possibility will lead to action against your employer, if you are in rented accommodation against your landlord too. Thi...

Re: 7 Year old boy born in UK

I have been working since April 2012 as an engineer, using my original details, national insurance number and bank account. New employer never asked for ID as I showed them my full British driving licence. I cannot tell them that i am illegal. I have a decent salary (over 55k) and i pay all the tax...

7 Year old boy born in UK

Hi all, A long post but any help woul be really appreciated. The legal part of the story. I came to UK from Albania on March 2007 on a student visa. In June 2007 I found a part time job as an engineer. They offered me a full time position and they helped me with the application for a work permit. In...

Apparently there is nothing I can do but leave the country. However, my passport is still somewhere in UKBA, apparently with my local enforcement office. I called the number on the refusal statement and they told me that is the wrong department. They gave me another number. I called that number, wro...

Hi everyone, It is quite sad actually. After more than three years on work permit visa as Mechanical engineer, I have to start thinking from zero again. Believe me guys, you feel shite. My salary was 11.65 per hour and it should have been 14.35 per hour on 37.5 hours per week. As i have mentioned be...

Tier2 application refused. No right of appeal.

I do not know why my first topic disapeared.

My application was refused today from UKBA on the basis of low salary.
Quite worried but relaxed.

All the best guys.

Today they have taken the £475 fee from my account. Is this a good sign tht they might hold on to my application? Good luck to you all. Hi ther...

Hi all,

How come my employer got a CoS on the january panel with a salary of 22k?
Was I lucky or the UKBA didn't see it?
Anyway I am still in deep sh... because my work pemit visa had expired when I got the CoS.
I sent the application anyway with a covering letter.

God help us all.

It wasn't a big mistake.
Just finished the biometrics without the letter. All they need are the reference numbers.
Thanks for being positive mate. :)

Actualy is quite weird how i got the CoS. I am a mechanical engineer but the job is not on the shortage list and the employer did'nt take a RLMT. However we applied when I had less than 60 days left on the visa and was going for the transitional arrangements. The human resources manager has been con...

Just a quick question, do you mind telling me what your salary is. Or safer, your salary scale. My employer has been trying for a while now to get a CoS for me and we've been unsuccessful on every occasion.
Around 23k per anum.

Am I an overstayer if I go and apply from my home country?

I asked a solicitor and he thinks that it might be worth sending a fresh application from within UK.

Confused...!!
