They did not agree with claim and returned all the documents with the verbal advice to apply in Sep.2011 No fee was taken. For any doubtful case PEO Solihull is the best choice This is a very useful info. It's worth travelling to Solihull from anywhere in the country rather than loosing around 2k. ...

1, switch back to full time and then appeal. Have you discussed this with the Lawyers? I would also suggest to fight for it as you can see the UKBA are now consulting to pretty much stop the work related Settlement (or grant it only to people who earn more than 150k or Nobel price winners!). It wil...

For Work Permit holders the Salary should be at or above the appropriate rate for the job as listed in COP and the Employer should certify this. More details available on UKBA website.

i think its annoying, personally i think a letter should be sent immediatly as a courtesy to let the applicant know that they have their application. That why people are paying premium fees for. :!: I could've saved around £ 600 if the application was sent via post. But we chose to pay that extra ...

What's your plan Gerard820? Are you going to re-apply or since you were denied thechance o appeal, going for a court review?

If you are planning for the second I think there would many other people in the same situation and it's worth considering a mass action by collecting all these people.

The rule says that your dependant partner can apply with you if they have lived 2 years in UK. It does not say anything about continuous stay or period of absence. I think it should not be a problem if partner has stayed for 2 years continuously in the 5 year period. Even the Set O form doesn't ask...

Either KOL (Life in the Uk) or ESOL. You don't need both, but you do need one of them. I agree to disagree! Anyone who registered for ESOL before 23.11.2010 can only use the ESOL qualification as a proof of Knowledge Of Life (KOL) in the UK. Everyone else(except the categories that are exempt) must...
