as mentioned before could you please elaborate under what you applied self employed ( director / sole trader) and exact wording of the caseworker as i dont think that they would have mentioned that they took the number from the internet. I think they will call only when the number is provided by you...

can you please write a little more details .. they tried to verify your employer?? or your clients from self employment??

Insurance is not mandatory but it is always a good practice to have a business.
what kind of self employment you are doing.? the documentary evidence depends on that

Yes I do .. In both the cases i score the required points..
I score the required points with the net Income ( after tax and expenditure ) and more 5 points if the CW considers the Net income before tax..
