sole trader can earn any amount but you need the proof. I mean you need proper statements to prove the earnings , invoices, proff from HMRC that you are self employed and tax document from HMRC along with the NI contributions bill. And your personal current account is all right to operate I think .....

once the new visa is issued the old one is automatically cancelled and you will be under the rules and restriction of the new visa.So you cant have two visa at the same time.

you can apply together with your application for the dependent visa.As dependent visa is always depenednt in the main applicant visa expiry dates. so there is no time frame,apply with your application. all the best

Today it is announced that from april 2011 Tier 1 (general ) is closed. Please help I will apply for an extension after that. Does that mean that people who are in Tier 1 (General) will not get extensions or it effects only the new applicants and those who are under it will get an extension.

if you are a sole trader and not operating in a ltd. company then you can just sho wthe transacion in your business account as the gross income and get the required letters from the account. i dont think that you need to draw salary from your business account as required for a Ltd. company..i am not...

Can u be a little specific to me. Did you applied for self employed operating in a limited company or sole trader. They can't ask for business account if you are a sole trader. Did you had a limited company??

i had the same experience with the HSBC. they are making life of people miserable by refusing stamping. They have given me the statement in the letter headed paper with the logo and name and account number but no address and they say that they are aware of the HO guidelines and HO accepts this state...

i am applying next week. i think there is no harm in getting the employer liabilty insurance even if you dont have employee as they are asking for it. so that solves your query as you can have the utr number from hmrc employer liability insurance i think its ok to apply with personal bank statement ...
