Family visitor visa priority service suspended

Hi All, I’m looking to invite my parents to the UK asap. The last 2 times they visited me, we had applied for family visitor visa. However the waiting times seem to be 1 to 2 months now. Also, the priority service, requiring to pay about Rs 24K, has been suspended since March 2022. Just wanted to kn...

What does expiry date on ILR biometric card mean ?

Hi, None of my friends who got their ILRs a few months ago have an expiry date on it. They have the ILR stampled on their passports. However, the other friends who got their ILRs recently have an expiry date after 10 years. I thought ILR was nothing but permanent residence. If so why the expiry date...

Hi Tier1general2009... To be honest, the employer letter must have been of very very less use. My previous company HR refused to provide a letter answering the 4 questions asked by UKBA which are also mentioned in my first post on page 1. All they gave me is a very generic letter. I have provided th...

Is there anyone who got approval or is waiting with the following condition please?

1. Out of UK >90 in 1 go (my situation -->120 days in 1 go)
2. During that period worked for same company abroad (India) and got salary in India but nothing in the UK.

Looking at the above time lines I ("girish1428") am becoming very hopeful of getting a result. I can see results for the appointments on 20th, 21st and 24th august. Mine was on 24th. So, fingers crossed. But anything can happen as I can see many whose appointments were months ago !

Hi Jigs, Your case is very similar to mine. But you are in a much better position compared to me as the days outside UK in 1 go are exactly 90. I think your case is almost straightforward. According to my knowledge, suppose one's ILR is rejected, he or she can appeal or not appeal according to what ...

Thanks Samriti, I think I should have waited for some more time as I have some more absences apart from the continuos 120 days ! Total absences amount to 175 days ! I jsut did an end time minus start time which was 5 Years, 2 Months, and 27 Days. I could have waited more as my Tier 1 expires in Dec ...
