Best is that your friend speak to his employer and explain his circumstance... may be his employer might agree to provide the letter as he will still be in employment for next 12 days... a long shot but may very well work out

I have read the link above... it makes things more confusing as if she applies through set O form, then most of the question will appear to be not directed to her . It is certainly not a dependent application form, but will have to believe it as there is a gentleman who has applied through set o for...

I believe it is SET(O). Thanks for the reply... SET O is not for dependent, as per my understanding... I applied for my ILR through Set O, If I read through UKBA website it appears to me that she should apply via Set M, but because she is still on tier 1 dependent and I am on ILR, I thought to chec...

Form to use for ILR, when dependent applying seperately

I am currently on ILR having completed WP + Tier 1 and now I need to apply for my wife ILR as she did not complete 2 years at the time of my ILR application. Due to shortage of 4 month, I had to apply for tier 1 extension, so at the time of application, my wife still had 20 month of tier 1 dependent...

Re: Dependant Visa question

Hi, I recently got my ILR, before that I was on Tier 1 (G). My wife is on PBS dependant visa valid till Apr 2014. The old rules did not permit separate ILR applications from PBS migrants; joint applications were mandatory. The new rules do permit the PBS migrant to apply separately and later, after they have completed their residence period. This is only possible if the extant PBS dependant leave continues to t...

Today I recieved my BRP, my ILR was approved on 14/8. I was at work when the courier man arrived, my wife showed my passport and recieved the document on my behalf, so I think as long as somebody is there at your address and can show a reasonable identity, then it should not be a problem
