I am in the same boat, recieved a fine from court for travelling on train without the right fare but having done a disclosure Scotland 'basic' check there was nothimg on it. Anyone know if the 'enhanced' check will bring anything up? I am in the process of having a 'subject access report' to see if ...

'Basic' disclosure only shows any unspent convictions unlike the enhanced report which shows unspent, spent, cautions & any other info held on the police database. So guys, is it worth ne getting a 'subject access request' from the local police station or is it the same as the disclosure Scotland?

I will see what the CRB check brings back and will take it from there. I've done it through Scotland disclosure, if it comes back clean u reckon I should proceed with ILR or still go for an extension?

what about getting in touch with the home office and explaining my situation? would they give any advice? or am I being stupid?

because that passport contains the OCI visa page which I have to send to the HCI to get the name chaged on OCI.
