The letter from employer should emphasize the fact that for nature of your work you are required to visit/work in such and such country. Yes, I intend to submit employer letter confirming my employment and assignment period, as well ...

Hi. a) Explanation letter (from yourself?) is not required - make sure payslips are stamped and signed. b) It does say in the Guidance and application form that additional photocopy is required. I would do as requested. c) Not strictly necessary but it helps present and clarifies your application. R...

if there is any inquiry by home office via my national insurance number to see if there is any record for the tax and income. I don't see how Home Office could deny Iran income between 6th Apr 2010 and the application date Feb 11 because it is not yet due to be declared and HMRC would therefore not...

Hi, Having just switched from WP to Tier 1 two months ago, while being on assignment in UAE which is tax free country, I think I can share my opinion: 1. It does not need to have company name on transactions as long as the two sources correspond each other. 2. I submitted payslips showing zero tax a...

Hi rajjathwp, I have been monitoring the movement on online booking on daily basis for a few weeks and I have an impression that there's a pattern: there was never availability for the week that was newly added - but - slots were gradually (day by day) released for the week that is 3-4 weeks old in ...

Dear all, I have booked to apply for ILR SET(O) on Tier 1G route next month and have one question on application form section 5.3: 'Are you working in the UK?'. Being on overseas assignment, although by UK firm, but taking the question literally, my answer should be No, and because of that I will no...

Many Thanks Natita ... I will try 0870 606 7766 number tomorrow to book a family appointment .. Cheers That's ok, good luck. The beginning of the recorded message might give you the impression that on-line is the only option for booking for PEO, it's not. Another interesting thing which may not app...

Did they ask for letters to prove cohabitation of yourself and partner? I will be applying SET(O) with husband and children as dependants. Thank you.

You should allow time for the test result to be in the system though, especially for PEO application. Ref section j. of SET(O) guidance http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... o04091.pdf

In my opinion, yes you can claim for the 'September salary' as it is regarded as the 'income' for Oct. Think about the case of non-salaried persons where the gap between the work/services done and date of actual payment can be months or years. I think you might still get contradicting response thoug...
