@mulderpf, strictly speaking you are right in that it does not depend on the type of printer, so long as it provides all the specified information in the Guidance. But I was thinking more of the quality of dot matrix prints, especially for Logo. @alipa, perhaps Google "dot matrix rejected"...

Print must print ALL pages for doubled sided option. For single sided, you may opt to exclude that page in question.

Apparently dot matrix prints are not acceptable, at least not in this case below.

I have similar case. I've just made application at PEO last month. In the form, I gave details for all previous Entries I made as I took "Immigration history" literally. However, at the counter at PEO, it was explained to me that only passports and visas relevant to the Entry from which po...

I think it should be considered under the rules effective at the time where Date of Application falls in, and not the time when they are considering your application.

N.B. Definition of Date of Application in Tier 1(G) Guidance Section 45.

Agree with Neosumit that you should apply for Admin Review. ECO should have considered other original payslips which would have been sufficient. @ hrmn, I don't think this is the case of false document, it is rather the case of submitting documents that do not meet requirements specified in the Guid...

Are you saying that if they had summed up your income excluding June salary, you should still have been ok, am I right? I'm surprised they rejected the whole thing just because one payslip is not original. I've heard cases where they at least made effort to calculate what they can verify, although r...

In my humble opinion, I don't think the one week landing trip would be a problem, especially with supporting evidences of your ties and commitment in UK (that you have not given up work and mortgage), which would indicate clear intention for coming back, your residency in UK should therefore not be ...

This is interesting...so they actually expect us to live together everyday? Just so unreasonable for someone who is required to work away from home, commuting over the weekend. And I gathered that the period of cohabitation can be aggregated, am I right? i.e. it does not have to be continuous and im...

I think it should be ok as the current rules do not require us to provide evidences as that for Tier 1, i.e. two sources of evidence that corroborate. The reason that I suggested to deposit the exact amount into your bank account is that so that you would be covered should the rules change as they a...

Thank you Sushdmehta. I did realise that many who do not own a house have also been granted with ILR, but maybe they clearly meet all other 'written rules'. I have dodgy case for my absences from UK. Owning a house is not a requirement. But I'm just wondering why do we have to declare information re...

Has anyone been refused for ILR even when you own a house?

I'm just thinking of buying a house in the UK and wondering if anyone has been refused even if you own a house? Is it too risky to invest before getting ILR? My absences from UK is high ~350 days as a comibination of entitled annual leave, business trips and overseas assignment. No single absence ex...
