Thanks for your reply Vinny. Yes I agree with the bit you said about overstaying and hence there is a break.
But in the SAR it doesn't mention anything about overstaying as it was HO mistake.

Do we have to pay full council tax fee or we are somehow exempted for a percentage because of "no public funds"on our visas?

i have called 2 times already
both time they said it is still in process...
and they cant see where it has reached so i have only to wait..
