Please follow up from above post.
One more thing im thinking - if my employer sponsors me for say 2 years - and i apply for ILR - he will provide me letter stating that he still wants me to work for the company - will that be ok?

Tier 2 G extension/IHS Charge/Dependants

Hello all, I am due to extend my Tier 2 by end of June 2016 .Have done 3 yrs already (01/07/2013-01/07/2016). IRL eligibility??

Hi, I am currently on Tier 2G issued on July 2013.However I am eligible to apply ILR April 2016 under 10 years. Thanks for your reply Vinny. Yes I agree with the bit you said about overstaying and hence there is a break.
But in the SAR it doesn't mention anything about overstaying as it was HO mistake.

Council Tax issue

Hi
I am on Tier 2 with 2 dependents with no recourse to public funds.About council tax are we not exempted because our visa mentions "no recourse to public funds"?

Hi I did send the application form on the 10th of January and some monies came in the bank account on the 24th Jan 2014 - within 2 weeks. Hi I am currently on Tier 2 General.I want my mother in law to visit us in London. I know that she will first enter the UK with a 6 months visit visa. i have called 2 times already
both time they said it is still in process...
and they cant see where it has reached so i have only to wait..

Whats the point of telling to call after 6 month - as we get the same answer which was of day one - In process...

Student visa expired 13 Nov 2012 that's why extended and no decision taken till now.. If i do retract i think the 7 months will be classed as overstaying.. I am still on my previous rights of University - 20 hrs and unlimited off term. as i have send extension application and this has not been decide yet.

They say when you switch you need to have current leave to remain and in my case this is only doubtful
