thanks for the reply.please how long does it take to be issued?
normally 1-2 weeks, but it took a bit longer for me, cos I lost my P60s, so my application was postponed, until I got the letter from HRMC.

Hi guys: Good news. just called home office, they said because my parents in law are family members of a EEA national, so even if their UK tourist visa is expired, they have the right to stay in the UK. that means I have time to gather all the documents they want and send the application over and ov...

Thanks for your reply, but in my opinion, parents in law are immediate family members, so they have the right to apply EEA2. I don't have the PR stamp myself, but my son who was born this year, he got a British passport (based on the fact that I have been working here for more than 5 years), so I gu...

Sorry, you are right, I didn't make it clear. It is the birth certificate for my wife they want, but she doesn't have one. The only thing I can provide is our marriage certificate, with both parents' names on. I sent out our marriage certificate for the first time, but HO still wants more evidence. ...

I am sure they are. home office sent me a letter asking for more documents, but we wont be able to provide some of them, i.e. birth certificates. (their government doesn't issue birth certificate to those were born before 1996). So I have to find other alternatives with a nice cover letter:) I am ju...

I didn't even know that they could apply for the EEA FP, so they came here with a normal tourist visa, and I paid for their trip. they are living with us and I am paying for the rent and food... but since they don't have any letter to my address (cos they are tourists), how can I prove that they liv...

Then you may be fine. You do not have to give a reason as to why you want them to stay. You do not have to show that they are living with you at the moment. Have a look at the guidance notes on this UKBA page . Thanks for ur reply! my other concern is that, if the application was not successful, wi...
