ILR(LR) 10 Years Questions

Today someone told me that I must have been present in the UK 10 years before the date of my application.

Example: If I am applying tomorrow (03/02/2015) then I must have been present in the UK on 03/02/2005.

Is this true?

Probably you would not like to hear what I am about to say. You mentioned that your visa got expired in November. If that is correct then there is no leave left to curtail. In addition, I believe if you have received right of appeal then that is because your visa is expired. It is compulsory to put ...

If it is the norm in your industry then yes. But just to be on the safe side put the actual number or a range.

Looks like the case worker thought that you don't come under SOC 3411. Does your job description tally with 3411 description?

You need to get paid at or above required salary rate and above 20k a year to score points for salary. You can't use a salary you are going to get in the future. So make sure you meet the salary requirement before you apply.

There are two checks when it comes to minimum salary.

1. you need to earn at least 20k regardless how many hours u work or what your hourly rate is

2. you need to get paid at or above above the minimum rate as stated in the relevant code of practice

The only viable option (other than to continue in T2) is Tier 1 (Ent) but that would require a capital investment of 200K and you would be limited to working in your own business. Additionally, the time you have already accrued on T2 will not be considered for a settlement application, unless it we...
