Re: Returning to UK without Residence Card

I have also been trying to find some more information on the rights (or absence of such) of non-UK immigration services to seize a valid UK residence document. I would be thankful if anyone could suggest a piece of legislation (international?) I could look for.

Re: Returning to UK without Residence Card

The Option available to you is to apply for a Replacement Residence Card in biometric, or go to your Home Country and apply for an EEA family Permit as a Person with a Right or residence. I will see if a replacement BRP is something I could arrange before the travel, as this would save a lot of hea...

Returning to UK without Residence Card

I am a national of Kazakhstan, currently residing in the UK. For the past 5 years I have been a holder of the UK Permanent Residence card with no restrictions on my activity in the United Kingdom. I have received this permit on the basis of being married to a Spanish national. I am planning to visit...

Couple more things to think about, since it is a Sunday: Your daughter is eligible to register as a British citizen, since she was born in the UK and you (or your husband) now have PR. You can find more on the UKBA web site about this. Not sure exactly what Spain thinks of this sort of dual citizen...

Let me step back for a second. Is there a specific reason your husband is applying for confirmation of Permanent Residence? Does you daughter also need that confirmation also? Note that each of you are not legally required to get the confirmation: You have permanent residence even if you do not app...

Just so it is clear. If your daughter is a Spanish national, then you do not need to apply for anything for her. She can come and go on her Spanish passport, when you end up renewing it. After living in the UK for a while, she could also become British. Thank you for your reply. If I understand cor...

[quote="boloney"]You don't Have to include kids on eea3 or eea4 if you don't need it. Anyway if child isn't 5 years old and you don't Have supporting documents for child they not gonna issue PR for child. My brother did send eea3 and put his kids as family memners, youngest one was 2 years...

I have an even worse situation, my sons have dual citizenship and dual passports, with different names on each passport because of similar administration arrogance. I was advised to update the passports name with (also known as) Can that be an option for you. Thank you for the suggestion. It could ...

Different Surnames on Child's Passport and Birth Certificate

Hello, My husband and I are in the middle of filling in an EEA3 (for my husband who is a Spanish national) and an EEA4 (for myself) and would greatly appreciate some advice. We got married in the UK five years ago and were granted residence permits soon after. A few months later our daughter was bor...

Many thanks for your very kind reply! Yes, it is a stamp, so I guess I will need to have it changed.

If I understand you correctly whether or not I have been in full-time employment during our marriage is not relevant?

Thank you very much for your very prompt reply! Yes, my husband has been continuously working full-time for the 9 years he has resided in the UK and we keep all his P60 and payslips. My stamp says, "A right of residence in the United Kingdom as the family member of an EEA national (my husband's...

non-EEA family member, error in stamp, unemployed

Hello, I have been looking for a thread in this forum giving advice on a similar situation to mine, but did not find anything quite the same. I am currently a non-EEA family member of an EEA national. We got married in the UK in April 2006 and from about May 2006 I have been issued a stamp in my pas...
