I wouldnt worry ..My Naturalisation application was approved with me not receiving any communication from the Home office - as long as the fee has been deducted, it means that they have received your application and it will go into processing.

All,

I received the Citizenship approval for myself and my wife yesterday after we returned back from a short holiday. The approval was dated 18 Nov and the letter apparently took 12 days to reach us. Our ceremony is now been booked for the 7th Dec.

Is there anyone else who has had this experience? This is the first time the Home Office has not responded promptly to an application sent by me ( WP, HSMP, ILR). Guess I have no option but to wait. Unfortunately could not find any escalation matrix in place either on the home Office site.
