I am a non EU national married to a Polish national. We both live and work in the Uk and We have a 2 year old child. I have this "Residence Card of a Family Member of an EEA national" endorsed on my passport and this lasts for 5 years and will expire in October 2013. The thing is everytime...

Raoulll thanks for your answer, so I see that she never got a COA, in that case I should not expect one and I now feel more relieved but just for piece of mind I will contact the HO to make them speed my application. Thanks to everyone for posting

you said 4 months, wow that is a long time, isn't it? I applied for mine exactly when I reached 5 years in the uk, but did your wife ever get this COA from the HO? I would appreciate your answer very much.
