The date of application is either the date of posting by Royal Mail, or the date of receipt by the UKBA by commercial courier. I acquired my PSW with my degree not through CIMA professionals. I only started doing CIMA after I joint my company. They have paid for all the online courses, study materials, CIMA membership subscription and exam etc. and they will continue to pay until I become a chartered accountant in two years...
