I guess it will be pretty difficult to get figures and statistics on students studying abroad. I guess every university makes it's own statistics (if even) and I don't think the data get consolidated. At leats not in certain countries. But maybe you can find information about specific programs like...

PSW is being abused as people on PSW visas are woking in Burger Kings and driving cabs etc... ideally with a PSW visa people should be doing a skilled job and not any job that a local can do..... ahh... now you talk.. look smarter, do you think people with PSW visas work in Burger King or McDonalds...

Be careful of what you advice others mahdyhasan. HO do all different checks . It has happened some one I know, where the HO checked the NI contributions to establish the fact on how many hours was the person working. Your cow boy attitude can damage someone. You cant just assume things...... Lets p...

Re: Over worked

You are advising someone to lie on an application and the home office definitely has the means to find out how many hours a person worked. It's called a telephone. UKBA and HMRC are two different public sectors where no one is connected to other one by any means.. every public sector has different ...

Re: Over worked

If any one works 20 hrs or less wouldn't charged any tax, I am not sure about NI but if I have been charged tax cant they take it from there. Actually I have lack of understanding on tax as well; say any one getting good pay but still working 20 or less hours... will that person be charged tax? The...

NI number 1) UKBA do not cross check the NI number with HMRC (unless policy has changed quite recently) 2) Even if they did, how can they use it to prove how many hours somebody worked? HMRC knows how much the person was paid and how much tax was deducted, not how many hours they worked. second ya

Maybe it is wise to deliver your application by yourself in person, but I'm not sure it's possible. But if it's possible, I think it may be the best option. Contact HO and just ask them that you are worried about it and if you can deliver it yourself and how. He can submit his papers in person..In ...

Hello bilal, I am trying to answer your question based on my experience. 1. It's completely okay if you send your documents to the HomeOffice on the day your visa is to be expired. You should keep the receipt of RoyalMail (if you use royalmail service) in the case of showing the record of sending pa...

If your visa expires on the 14th of January and University is not able to issue you a reference letter for PSW visa by this date, it is not possible to "extend your leave to remain by one week" and you would have to submit initial application from your home country. ya... that's what they...
