Hi, My wife has been employed with the same firm for over 4 years now and she will be applying for ILR in April 2012. However she wants to show additional income from a side business that she plans to run as a consultant. Problem is that the tax returns would not be available in time when she appli...

Sorry for asking personal questions. The reason I am asking is because the wording of the Rules are very confusing. A. To apply for ILR which age would be considered for claiming points ? 1. First WP - 23 years 2. WP Extension - 24 years 3. Tier 1 Initial Leave to remain - 25 years ( Aug 2008 if it...

I really hope you are right but I beg to disagree! The documents we are reading right now talks about grant of VISA not HSMP LETTER. When he was given visa he was over 28. I bet he got 10 points for age on his extension because of that as well. It does not talk about VISA either it just says "...

navodwickra, I know it sounds silly to ask such question. However in My case as you can see from the history. I had HSMP Letter issued in Sept 2007 at the time my age was 'X' then in Feb 2008 my age has gone up to 'Y' and then then in May 2009 I got Tier 1 that time my age has gone up to 'Z'. "...

Here's the situation. I checked my last Visa (Tier 1 (extension from HSMP) Document - the one you get when you have been issued visa May 2009). And I got 20 points for my age. Now if I see the proposed document (table2 page 30) it says I only get 10 points!!! if I use my last leave as Tier 1. http:...

I got early extension in April 2009 and I applied exactly 9 months early. Got stamped from April to end of exactly 5 yrs. So actually the visa was more than 3 years. Dont know whether this is the case for all early extension. May be I just got lucky :) plus didnt provide any reason at all.
