Re: Naturalisation-Genuine & Expert Advice Only- NO Guesses

What do you plan to do about your tax bill as it sounds like you are ignoring it or not planning on paying it? Yes, I think so. You need to contact HMRC to know what is due. Explain your situation to HRMC and they might write-off some of the dues. As CR001 highlighted please do not ignore your tax ...

Doctors can act as a referee in a personal capacity. However, GPs are no longer on the approved list because of the time management.

Re: illegal arrested (wrong details given ) now ILR, BRP tim

I came in UK 1996 never informed home office however in 2011, decided to apply and I was granted ILR,(no biometric taken) I believe there is one possibility, since HO doesn't have your biometric data. I was arrested about three times between 2005 to 2008 all on driving offences. my biometrics were ...

Re: Bachelors Degree for Citizenship

Geriatrix, to avoid confusion, the OP question was, he has used masters degree for ILR but wanted to use his bachelor's degree for naturalisation. OP query was not on the exempt option. That's why, the responses are that the bechalor's degree has to have ELA from UK NARIC. If the OP uses exempt (I m...

Re: Bachelors Degree for Citizenship

Sorry, but no one posting in this topic has given the OP correct advice (answer to the query). :( It is not mandatory to use the same degree for naturalisation that has been previously used for ILR. However, the new degree must also satisfy the condition set by the english language requirements for...

Submitted 9th march via NCS, 19th money taken, 24th bio done. Still early days; And lets not forget about the few members who are still awaiting the outcome of their applications since 2014, they are the ones I have sympathy for. + 1 Patience is not simply the ability to wait - it's how we behave w...

I had my biometrics done on 29th Feb but have not heard back anything ever since then. Really worried. Too early to be honest. But you might get it soon, however, If I was you, I would have waited patiently. Hi Debz I have been told the same by Brent NCS with Combine application that your case is v...

Re: naturalization for children born abroad

Your wife can ONLY apply without waiting 1 year on ILR once you are British. In this case, she will apply as spouse of British Citizen. To apply with you in October, she needs ILR and 5 years residence to qualify. If she is applying in her own right, she needs to have the ILR for exactly 12 months ...

Hi David,

Looking at the timelines; It takes around 20 days for the acknowledgement and biometric letters; You will have it soon, be patient.

CR001 has quite rightly highlighted two important factors (Easter holidays and busy time at the HO).

Re: English language requuirement for naturalisation and pas

This is a first refusal (I seen on this forum) based on the 28th Oct 2013 English Language rule; Specially, the AN form Q1.22 clearly suggest that no new tests are required as it is already met. I am still convinced that it is a human error; however, senior members or those who were (if any) refused...

Sumatiya, This looks like an error; AS the AN Booklet at end of page 14 If you have already satisfied the requirement to have sufficient knowledge of language and life in the UK for settlement, by applying on or after 28 October 2013, you do not have to demonstrate it again. OR If someone can provid...
