Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Alot of people on here pay the extra fee for NCS. But it doesn't necessarily make it faster. I sent my app via post next day special delivery (~£7) and received the approval as fast as anyone else that paid the extra for NCS. I don't see the point of it unless they give you back your original passp...

the NCS officer asked me for my BRP, no harm bringing it. Just BRP, KOL cert, English cert and the application form. No need payment slip as the NCS office will use their own. You mean the guy at PO asked you for BRP? BRP is not required for passport. BRP can not prove your eligibility to obtain pa...

1) I have the same issue but to be safe I just selected the first box and provide the KOL certificate again. I even re-took an English test just to get a new certificate. I can't find any note that says the evidences don't have to be provided again if they were provided in the past. 2) This should ...

Re: The AN form itself

Hi, Is it likely that the AN form will change before July 2015 as the exisiting AN form is June 2014...? Does it change every year? I've been told that for Naturalisation, you won't have to use the new form. Note, I have been unable to find a statement on UKBA that says to use the current form &quo...

People who have received the 6 month + letter, please at least share what your eligibility criteria is so that we'll all have an idea whom are more likely to be affected. Thanks.

Form An Question 2.1 Date First Entered Uk

Hello,

According to the Guide, question 2.1 should list 'Enter the day you first arrived with a view to staying in the UK on a long-term basis'.

Here's my history: Working Holiday maker -> Tier 1 General -> ILR

Should I enter the date that I entered the UK as Tier 1 General?

Thanks.

anyone experience problems paying with personal cheque?

Hi all,

I've drawn a personal cheque for my Naturalisation payment. Has anyone here had any issues with payment clearance using this method? I'm guessing it's more reliable to using debit card?

Cheers.

Form AN validity

Hi guys, I don't suppose anyone knows this, the current Form AN was issued in June 2014. When will a new version be issued to replace this? Any time in the near future? If and when this happens, would the current form instantly become invalid? That seems harsh for people who have paid in advance for...

Exit is not tracked. BUT your passport will have entry stamp into another country, that will speak the truth. That's the reason why they require present passport. Don't lie not necessarily because if one returns to their home country their passports are most likely to be 'stamped' electronically i....

what to do Questions 6.4 and 6.7

Hello, I find the last set of questions unclear. 6.4 'I confirm that I have enclosed the appropriate documents'. Does this refer to the supporting documents like KOL and English language certificate, etc? Why does it say 'Delete if not applicable'? Similarly with 6.7. This doesn't apply to me so sho...
