A friend of my received the form as well on 16 Nov and as posted it back to UKBA. They did not issue a new COA even though hers has expired but asked for her to send her passport and 2 passport photographs so they can issue her residence permit. She initially asked for her passport from UKBA.

This is quite an interesting discussion. can i get some clarification on this dual citizenship in northern ireland(NI), if a british national goes up to NI to work or school and gives birth to a child there, is this child entitled to be an irish citizen as well as a british citizen.

eea regulation amendment 2012

D amendment included zambrano, they called it derivative residence permit, its in 15A. Please check it out and give your explanations. From my point of view they included self sufficient to their interpretation.

If the family member is your spouse/child, is there a requirement that the eea member must be a worker/self-employed persons etc and be resident in the member state you are both relocating to before the non eea can apply for family permit?

Hi, its less than 6 mths as I applied in august 2010, had a complicated previous application as did not have proof that ex spuse exercised treaty rights, but she now cooperates with me and gave me the needed document which I included in the application.

he is currently living in his home country which is non eea with his family and they intend to relocate to ireland together, I thought there is a 3 months visa that can be issued for entry, then once in ireland and eea has started working they can apply for residence card.

Thanks, I think the best option is. For him to go to ireland first get a home nd a job. But we do not know what it takes to settle down in ireland, I.e getting National insurance/ tax no, which I guess its needed for employment. Can anyone pls give me a brief overview of the process of settling down...

Hi, u will need proof of 2yrs cohabitation to get ur RC since u're nt married. If u have those proof from 2006 till date then appeal with a copy of these documents plus ur kids birth certificate. Or you can send these documents to HO asking for reconsideration.

Also u will need evidence of self employment in 2005 and 2009 to win this case, he will need to declare those years to hmrc and pay tax and NI contributions, then send document to HO and court.

Hi, from a personal experience PR will not be granted if u can't prove your ex-spouse exercised treaty rights as he/she will not be a qualified person. Another point is u can exercise treaty as a job seeker especially if for a brief period. So u can write a covering letter explaining these situation...
