@ radi8 a big congratulations to u!!!!! So it took approximately 10days to get ur PR after been told its in final stage. That's not bad at all, will call HO today to get latest update on my case. Applied 04/08/10, received COA dated 24/08/10, called HO on 04/01/11 and was told still with a case work...

Hi, just saw ur post. But you shouldn't have applied for visitor visa as it will be difficult to proof they will leave at the end of their stay based on the FP applications. My advise now is to go to appeal on the family permit, but make sure u get the needed supporting documents to prove dependency...

Applied 04/08/2010, COA received 24/08/2010, called HO 04/01/2011 and was told case is still with a case worker!!, I don't know what to think now, was actually expecting something like final stages or documents sent out.

Compliments of the season, quite excited by the latest post, will call HO on tuesday to find out what's up with my application. What a great way to start year 2011 if I get my PR this january after struggling with it for more than 2 yrs. I'm 100% positive this time.

If u go through this forum u will see post on overstayer who were successful with their applications. All you need to do is get the needed documents and file them properly. Overstaying is not a problem once you are married and applying from your home country will be faster

Are u going for another appeal or u want to reapply? This spinal disease u mentioned, do u need to depend on someone for care? I think if u include it, u will be considered. But it will be better if u get all the documents they want plus your health issues and reapply. Eea applications are fast now ...

Also you must provide evidence that you are a worker or self employed persons to have your rights retained. Google eu regulation 2006 to see how u qualify. Make sure u get evidence of how your eea spouse exercised treaty rights from time of marriage up till when decree absolute was granted.
