Impact of travel/work in Egypt on Australia work visa applic

Hi. I am an IT professional, an Indian citizen, and I have an offer to work in Egypt. Though this work is interesting, my plan is to apply for that Australian work visa for Highly Skilled professionals in the future. Does anyone know that would living and working in Egypt for 1 or 2 years have any p...

Date diff between pay date and actual bank account transfer.

I am the director of my company, and I do contract jobs. If the date of transfer of funds to my personal bank account from my company account is around 50 to 60 days after the date mentioned on “company papers” (like payslip or dividend slip), is that acceptable for the visa extension application? I...

Eligibility to work in Germany

(Moderators please note: Though the word "job" is mentioned in the following post, it still isn't a job related post. It essentially is an "immigration to Germany for work" type of post. So, for heaven sake, don't move this thread to Jobs forum) Dear forum members, I am eyeing on...

Re: Is anyone in the same dilemma regarding extension?

Thanks for your reply mate. Do you or anyone know of any (ideally not very difficult) masters degree that can be done part time or through correspondence which could be used for claiming points, because that would relax the demand on the my required salary a bit? FYI, since my current visa is valid ...

Is anyone in the same dilemma regarding extension?

Is anyone in the same dilemma regarding extension that I am in? As per the PBS calculator, I need to earn atleast 55k to be able to get extension. I am pretty much on the edge I feel, because it is a challenging to earn this much in 12 months. Though, I am in a contract job, that is, I am on a not s...

Re: Tier1 extension application: Do dividends count as salar

Simple question mates: What's counted for Tier1 extensions: Gross dividend or net dividend?
(I know the meaning of gross and net.. only want to confirm what's counted for Tier1: Gross dividend or net dividend?)

Thanks

Tier1 extension application: Do dividends count as salary?

Now there is close to one year left in my current Tier-1 general visa.. so the crucial time has arrived when I need to be careful about my effective taxable income because what I earn in these next 12 months will decide whether I will get visa extension or not. Working in a second job (employment) or self-employment that is registered with HMRC will be an option. Hi, Thanks for replying. Tier1Extension.. short of required points due to salary

I am on a Tier-1 general visa. It will be valid till over a year from now. I am in a big dilemma regarding visa extension.. To be able to claim minimum required points for extension, I will need to earn atleast 50,000 GBP in the final 12 months. So, the job that I will choose to do in these 12 month...

Do Tier-1 holders pay NIC?

I am a Tier- General visa holder, and I am working in UK as a contractor but I am under an Umbrella (not under my own limited). The Umbrella is deducting NIC every month. My question is, given the fact that there is no guarantee I would get an extension or settling down, then why do I have to pay NI...

The job in Libya that I've come across is a short-term one and I do not want to risk my career by visiting a...
