Hello Darya. Where does your parents live? Do they own that house? What is sufficient depends on where your parents live and how much they need to survive each month. For example If they own a house, they will not be considered as dependent on you. I have so far not seen any case on this forum where...

Re: Is 25K enough salary in UK? please share your views!!

Thank you very much for this information. If I choose to live in Dorset will 25K be enough then? Plenty of people survive on less. i would suggest you look around at properties in your chosen area to see how much rent is likely to be on this website: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/ You can also calculat...

Re: Is 25K enough salary in UK? please share your views!!

If I choose to live in Dorset will 25K be enough then? The average salary in the UK is £25k. London is a very expensive city to live in, and to try to live with the salary you have been offered, requires a lot of discipline and budgeting. Keep in mind there are people earning even less than that. If...

It seems like that being unemployed currently makes you undesireable in UK. I don't understand why people mention that they will live indefinitely in UK. EEA family permit is only valid for 6 months which means you need to apply for Residence card within this period. It is perhaps better to state on...

Hi Kadsac, What do you mean by two stamps in the passport? Do they stamp in your passport If you withdraw your application? My husband withdrew his family permit application from the same embassy a couple of times because on both ocassions they took more than 4 weeks to process. We just simply rang ...

Thank you very much for your advice. I really appreciate your help! I would hope they would give you the passport back. I would be very explicit that you need it to travel, but that you would like to continue the application. Ask them the reason for the delay. They might even issue the EEA FP there....

No. The reason is that It can take upto 20 days to get a response and it won't help me at this stage when I really need my documents back from the UK embassy. But I will off course complain to UKBA centrally after I withdraw my application. You have complained to the embassy. Have you also complaine...

No. They never sent any letter. What is max allowed proccessing time? Didn't you receive a letter informing you in relation to the progress time ? I thought it was standard for the embassy / home office to send a letter advising of the duration it takes to process applications. Just wait and see. :D

Perhaps your judgement is correct. We must wait and see the outcome. However, I have read many cases on this forum where UKBA clearly violates the free movement of EEA/EU citizens and their family members. Their agenda on many occasions unfortunately seems to discourage free movement of family membe...
