You can travel around EU/Schengen without any Schengen Visa and just the UK residence permit. We did this last year, to France, Spain and Italy. There were no problems at all. 1 day overstay on Visa and what happens?

One relative to me will be overstaying for one day in the UK, her visa expires on 30 October but the flight is on the 31st October.

Will she be in difficulties and what will and can happen?
