I haven't heard anything either, regarding the passport return.
I first emailed on 15 Sep and reminded them on 3 Oct.
It's my EEA partner's passport only for him to travel at the beginning of Nov but might have to call the number in a few days...

I understand you can apply for the entry clearance as a fiancee of an EEA national, with a certain fee.

If you're an Irish national, isn't it going to have to be the EEA route?
