I haven't heard anything either, regarding the passport return.
I first emailed on 15 Sep and reminded them on 3 Oct.
It's my EEA partner's passport only for him to travel at the beginning of Nov but might have to call the number in a few days...

I have requested my EEA husbands's passport back for travelling next month, let's see what will happen.
