Hi, My wife recently attended an open evening at a local college in London. She wanted to do ESOL English and Functional Skills maths courses. She is currently on FLR (M). After inspecting my wife's BRP card, the advisor at the college told us that my wife could enrol on and do both the courses free...

Re: Can I apply before 28 days of Visa expiration

Hmm, I think, I misunderstood you at the time then. I thought by clock reset, you meant that once one switches to FLR M, ILR can only be possible after 5 years on FLR M even if one achieves 10 year stay, say, by three quarters of the time on FLR M.

Thank you.
Just a quick one. Do we need to include the police registration certificate as a supporting document?

I have had permanent residence (ILR) status since May 2017, and my wife is my dependant. My wife wants to apply for a UK uni course, will she qualify for 'home' course fees?

Thanks.

Re: FLR M online application

Follow that then, but no harm in sending it is there. Don't forget Appendix 2. Thanks, I will send the form too. Just another quick question. For the online applications, what is considered as the date of application? Is it the date I submit the online application form or Is it the date I post the ...

Re: MN1 application, children without valid leave and others

Your are mistaken. A child born in the UK is entitled to register, ie cannot be refused. You are worrying for no reason. It is section 3(1) applications for children born abroad that are at discretion and not guaranteed Thanks. I had a chat with a staff from a council in London when I inquired abou...

Re: MN1 application, children without valid leave and others

Thanks!

Kids will have to wait for up to 6 months then, and the 'entitlement' is not a guarantee, and hence I am a bit worried.

Do you know of anyone or any case similar to ours and everything went well for them?

Many thanks.

A1 or A2, help!

Hello, My wife is due to send her FLR(M) form to UKVI as a partner of settled person (long residence). I got my ILR in April 2017. She's been on PBS Tier 4 dependent visa for the past 6 years. Re: FLR M financial requirement and others

Great, that clears the way. I think, I will register the two children born in the UK (hopefully, without any issue with my government). If their registration is complete by 1 August, we will apply for ILR for my wife. If not, we will have to use FLR(M) for my wife and daughter who was born outside t...
