Hi, My wife recently attended an open evening at a local college in London. She wanted to do ESOL English and Functional Skills maths courses. She is currently on FLR (M). After inspecting my wife's BRP card, the advisor at the college told us that my wife could enrol on and do both the courses free...
Hmm, I think, I misunderstood you at the time then. I thought by clock reset, you meant that once one switches to FLR M, ILR can only be possible after 5 years on FLR M even if one achieves 10 year stay, say, by three quarters of the time on FLR M.
Hello there, My wife and daughter's FLR M extension is due at the end of March. I am now collecting documents. I have a few questions to which I have not been able to find answers by reading previous posts. Needless to say, there is a wealth of information on this forum. Thanks! I have been on a sal...

Can she apply for visa extension (under priority service) before 22nd Feb and get her new visa before she travels to India? Under...
Hello, I've read a few posts and found partial answers to my questions; can you please take a quick look at my questions below? I would like to register three children of mine as british citizens. I received my ILR permit in May 2017. Child 1 Born abroad while I was in the UK in 2009; arrived in the...
I have had permanent residence (ILR) status since May 2017, and my wife is my dependant. My wife wants to apply for a UK uni course, will she qualify for 'home' course fees?
Follow that then, but no harm in sending it is there. Don't forget Appendix 2. Thanks, I will send the form too. Just another quick question. For the online applications, what is considered as the date of application? Is it the date I submit the online application form or Is it the date I post the ...
Hello and thanks! First of all, sorry for flooding the forum with multiple threads, i keep forgetting about my previous posts. The documents I printed say that I should send the supporting docs, consent forms and the checklist only. No requirement for including the printed online application form, a...
Hello, Just submitted my wife's FLR M online application form. The system generated a pdf copy of her application form, but not sure if I should print and post the application form too. I am sending the supporting documents, the signed consent forms and the checklist only, should I include the print...
Your are mistaken. A child born in the UK is entitled to register, ie cannot be refused. You are worrying for no reason. It is section 3(1) applications for children born abroad that are at discretion and not guaranteed Thanks. I had a chat with a staff from a council in London when I inquired abou...
I wish I could press the backspace button! No, not yet, may try outside london, but hardly there is any available appointment for next Tuesday the latest. It is too late for premium service too, her leave expires on the 1st August, next Tuesday. I want to leave the citizenship registration until I g...

Any suggestions appreciated!
Many thanks, I registering myself on the council web site and found out that the earliest NCS appointment is available for the 4th September. I need to send the FLR(M) by Tuesday next week. Any suggestion?
Thanks!
Hello there, Question 1 I've recently received my ILR and currently preparing my wife and daughter's FLR(M) application. I have two more children (boys) who were born in the UK while I was on PBS visa. They will not be included in the FLR(M) application, I want to make citizenship application for th...
I had a look at posts by others and they are helpful, but every applicant is different - I wonder if my circumstances square with the correct form and category. I have not been in salaried employment continuously for the past six months. I have been in salaried employment since May 2017 only and my ...
Hi Simon, many thanks. I am quoting the note from the thread you pointed to: Introduce from 1 May 2017 a new English language requirement at level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages for applicants for further leave in the UK as a partner or parent, after completing 30 mon...
Hello, My wife is due to send her FLR(M) form to UKVI as a partner of settled person (long residence). I got my ILR in April 2017. She's been on PBS Tier 4 dependent visa for the past 6 years. She took A1 test and passed it back in April. Now I am reading that from May 2017, FLR(M) applicants (those...
Great, that clears the way. I think, I will register the two children born in the UK (hopefully, without any issue with my government). If their registration is complete by 1 August, we will apply for ILR for my wife. If not, we will have to use FLR(M) for my wife and daughter who was born outside t...
