I would like to add that IMHO as per research Ive done on this, reimbursed expenses can not be claimed as they are not income, they are just "making you whole" for the expenses you have already incurred.

Its not same as income as they are not making you any better.

Per my understanding of the rules, as long as you have sufficient funds, you do not need to show proof of accomodation. The funds signify that you can arange suitable accomodation. However, a lot of people submit it as they think it will assist the case. So its not mandatory and you should assess if...

I think you should also look in to the idea of mailing the application and paying by a cheque. mail will take 2 days at least to deliver and cheque will take time to clear too. That will easily be 5 days.

Im saying that I dont think you need to apply for an extension. You should just apply for ILR.

If you are short by 5 days, put it through mail and payment by cheque to buy more time.

"The points threshold for extensions will, however, be raised to 100 for those who were required to score 100 points when they were originally granted Tier 1 (General) leave". I am ubsure what this means? Is it saying that those whom were required to score 100 will still need to score 100?...

I believe as long as you have sufficient funds (i.e. meet the UKBA requirements) then you do not have to show proof of accomodation. It is only an additional peice of info people show.

But if you think it will help your case then I guess you can show it.
