Hi, Just a quick question (if anybody had been in that position); I got my approval letter in March and sent my GNIB card and travel document as requested. I wasn't invited to the May ceremony and so, I'm awaiting an invitation to the following one (possible July?). The problem I'm having is that I'...

Does anybody has any experience with their local TD regarding naturalisation? I spoke to the TD's Office in my area today about my situation and the fact I've been waiting 33 months and the lady on the phone was very helpful. She said they deal with a good bit of those queries and that INIS are norm...

I wouldn't worry so much about it Sinolate. Many of the Marys in Tipperary are stressed and can be so flippant at times. Give it a few weeks if you haven't heard anything back, you can call them back. I know it's hard not to call when you are at this stage (I know how apprehensive I was in my case ...

Quick update: A friend got his yellow form last Wednesday... he waited 15 MONTHS!! That's it! Just 15 months!! I'm baffled! There seem to be no cohesive indication of how things are processed at INIS. I just don't get it. Doesn't matter at this stage I guess. I complete 27 months of waiting tomorrow...

Ok, if you're looking to get a new travel document (submit photos, fill the form, get a garda to sign the form... ect) because it's your first application for a travel document or because your old one had already been reduced 4 times, then they won't process the application because they're working o...
