1. She did not cancel the tour! it was cancelled by the travel agent. (the money will be refunded)
2. She informed the HO that she will also be visiting her son during her visit to the uk when she applied for her visa not when the trip was cancelled.

Hi Guys, This is the situation for a family member of mine. She applied for tourist visa but it got cancelled on entering the uk due to an unreasonable officer. So she has made a appeal. Work permit dependant

I am jus wondering if a person applying for ilr under 5 yr work permit can add a dependent who has been in the uk for only 1 yr and is on dependent visa as of now. Will she get ilr as well or extension of dependent visa.

@ izzie: everything will be sent back to u only after processing ur application.

@daisyb: if u don mind me asking, how do u know ur application was considered only in december. Did they send u a letter or something? and i do agree-this wait is seriously nerve wrecking.

Looks like no one from set o 5 yr postal are receiving any good news. atleast a few from 10yr applocations have been receiving something...

Im also wondering how come some are getting it in 7 weeks and for others its talking twice the time. Is there any particular criteria the ukba are considering for processing applications faster. it wud be kind if someone can update me on this.
