I've became British Citizen last year and needs to apply citizenship for my wife now. She has been here more than 5 years now.

Hi, I was based out of UK for my company's assignment for 175 days, less than 90 days in a single trip. I was having Tier 1 General Visa during these absences. Do I need to provide any letter from employer even if the absences does not cross 180 days limit in an year (as per new rule). Please advice.
