Thanks Zahid. 1. Just want to confirm that you have accounted the fact that the baby will be born in Feb while the ILR will be received by April/May. Which means, my legal status in UK till May is Tier 1. So do you mean that the baby will be classed as citizen even when my legal status is tier 1. 2....

SET(O) Postal Application

Hello there, I got my Tier 1 extn in July 2011 which is valid till Jul 2013. However, I am now eligible to apply for ILR as of Dec 04 2011. As we have ample time remaining on current Tier 1, we are planning to apply by post assuming it typically takes 3 to 4 months to get the results back. We are al...

Re: Tier 1 Extn result after current VISA expiry

Do you always get a right of appeal post rejection? If not, under what circumstances will someone not get a RIGHT of APPEAL?
What is procedure for appealing against a decision and what happens after that?

Can visa be rejected after receiving Biometric appointment?

Hi,

Has anyone got his Tier 1 extn rejected after successfully attending the biometric appointment. Just wondering if Biometric appointment means a non-formal visa approval.

Thanks

Tier 1 Extn result after current VISA expiry

Thanks.

Does it make sense to switch to Tier 2 (work permit) with my current employer? Will it affect my PR which I was planning to go for at this year end.

Thanks

Hi, My current Tier 1 VISA is valid till 16th June. I posted my Tier 1 Extn application on 5th April assuming 2.5 months is a sufficient time in advance. However, I received a biometric appointment date of 16th June. Also, I understand that the actual result may take 4 weeks after that. My question ...

Thanks very much cisco3181.
Is there any good way to search for an appoinment online. I find the system very hard as for every search you need to select city and the week.
Is there any other good alternative?
