Did caseworker ask about the absence?
Mine is a similar case, but working from home in India, salary paid in UK, went for personal reason.
No of days absence is 58 days...split up in two trips last year. Total absence in 5 years is 142 days.

Why after 19/11/12? In the refusal letter it is mentioned 28 days prior or on or after 18/11/2012. What will be advantage of applying after 19/11/12.

Why my application for settlement would again be refused, if I am apply on Oct 2012? by that time, I would complete 5 years without any long absence.
