congrats. The person you met was NOT the case worker. he was the admin officer who registered your case. Same happened with me. I also didn;t get chance to meet the case worker. Yeah it is strange, I know! It's something to do with Ireland being a 'frequent travel zone' - same as the Channel Islands.
