Couple applying together

Hi I am inviting my mother and father to come see me in the UK using a family visitor visa. They will be applying from Delhi, India.I think they will both need to fill in separate application forms. Will their case be treated as one, or separate cases? I have only sent one set of original documents ...

Can I check whether you submitted original documents or scanned copies? I am fully sponsoring my mother and father and not sure whether I need to send original salary slips and bank statements

Hi

The thread is very useful. Thanks. Can you please let me know that if I am fully sponsoring my mother's trip, do I need to send original bank statements and salary slips in the post, or can I scan all documents from here itself.

Thanks

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I did the exact same thing, and normally I'm so careful about such things. I think it's probably a bug too. My PEO appointment is Wednesday. Fingers crossed it won't be a problem. Hi - Did you get your ILR based on on the mix-up between first name and surname?...

Thanks for your response.

Both names at same address: tenancy docs copy, council tax letter, electoral register letter
Individual names at same address: HMRC letter, p60, sal slips
my name only: utility bills

Yeah, I agree that you've wasted your time and forum space, because I had to respond to you.

Tier 1 Dependant application query

Hi, I would appreciate if someone can verify a minor question. My wife who has a UK work permit is in India and applying for a Tier 1 (General) Dependant. My bank statement was issued on 14th March and her appointment is on 14 April. Would the statement be valid? If no then we will have to wait for ...

Hi Push, I am surprised that even though she is in the UK and working for the past 3 years on a work permit, she now has to go back to our home country and apply for a tier1 (general). That means she has to take an extended leave from work, given the application times. Would this also be the case (a...

Tier 1 extension spouse dilemma!

Hi, I have a Tier 1 (general) that I will be extending in 2 months. I got married a year ago and my wife is on a work permit. She does not satisfy the tier 1 points and my question is, can I apply for her as my spouse. I think this will fall under tier 1 dependant, even though she is independent. IF...
