tier 2 will become much easier for in-country applicants after April. So, dont fret too much over it, if you find it difficult to switch over at this moment in time.... and keep a close eye on UKBA website cheers If they bring down TIER1 General they have to ease TIER2. The salary is the futuristic salary, which means you should get 26k or above once you are on a Tier 2 General visa.
