Thanks ScopeD, so it means stamp is not necessary incase of letter if it is on company letterhead. Should I mention complete date for e.g. 30 Sep 2011 or Sep 2011 will workout.

It is not printed on plain A4 paper neither on company letterhead. It is on coloured paper which is used by company accountant.

If I ask for earning letter from my employer, will that needs to be stamped?

Payslips stamped or signed

Hi,

I received payslips from my employer which are not in company letterhead but through registered account. I would like to ask if my employer sign them it would be enough or I have to get it stamped as well.

English requirement for T1 General Dependant

Hi,

My wife will soon apply from Pakistan. I am not sure if she have to give ILETS or not. Does T1 general dependant are exempt from english language requirement.

Border agency reference is much appreciated because I cannot find it.

Travel a month before expiry of visa

Hi,

My Tier 1 visa extension is due on 16 Oct 2011 and I want to visit my country. If I travel in the August is there be any issue with extension.

Thanks for the news. I think there is no problem for ILR if I only need to show current extension salary criteria. By the time of ILR, I will have degree as well and it will give me more leverage means I can show lower salary as I will achieve more points in education. The only question remaining is...

Hi mk357,

Thanks very much, I will read the 'Guidance notes accopanied with the ILR application' and that is a good idea to submit application in last week and compensate few weeks. After then I will be eligible for ILR next time, if they put visa stamp date.

Hi, You need points at the end to apply for extensions. This is tricky that your employer will let you study full time while you are working full time. So if you opt for full time study, no salary points means if you need an extension, you can claim for salary points. Hope it explains. I am going to...

Thanks for the advice. I will check with uni, if there is any problem. I think Tier1 General allow you to do anything in UK but I will double check with uni.
