Re: Naturalisation approval letter and ceremony letter

Thanks for clarification. Ceremony must be BOOKED within 21 days and the applicant must ATTEND ceremony within 90 days from date of approval letter. There is no requirement to apply for a British passport. Your spouse can do that when she returns to the UK or feels ready to do it. She should be fine...

Naturalisation approval letter and ceremony letter

Hi Members, My wife applied for Naturalisation on 6th March 2015. It seems like delay from UKBA in processing application. She is planning to visit home and stay there for 6 months. Does this make any problem in obtaining ceremony and passport interview dates? I will be here to receive her letter an...

I used same old ILETS certificate.

ILR Success SET(O) - 14 Feb 2014 @ Croydon

I would like to thank each and every member on the forum who answered my queries. Special thanks to Amber for advising the use of SET(O) form instead of SET(M) for my wife ILR application. I was bit nervous to book an appointment in Croydon but it turns out to be easy and straight forward process. T...

Re: ILR application for Dependant SET(M) or SET(O)

Thanks for clarification. For SET(O) it's basically just KoLL (LIUK and B1 English), proof of cohabitation, qualifying period satisfied and adequate maintenance/accommodation. No experience, points etc... That's all not applicable. Obviously, both applicant and partner's BRPs, Passports and Marriage...

Re: ILR application for Dependant SET(M) or SET(O)

Thanks for the clarification. How dependant will qualify for the income, experience and other points? SET(M) is for those with spouse/FLR(M) leave. A PBS dep whose spouse/partner/akin has settled as as a PBS applicant is entitled to settle on SET(O) when they have satisfied the requirements includin...

Hi Amber,

Please can you clarify why dependant has to use SET (O) instead of SET (M)?
