What is this new rule now,..i work in the NHS in a scientific and technical role with a present salary of 25k.
Will i be affected, Is it for everyone who r in the old work permit. my ilr is due in sept. my salary at time of approval of work permit was 18k.

Thanks again for the replies, but what if i take any unpaid paternity leave for my baby care, will it have any affect on my ILR later this year.

It would take 10 years legal stay to get ILR, I know some who are on student visa for the past 8-9 years and some in combination of student visa and work permit etc..

We both are from India, n we didnot work in any other country other than UK and India,,,May i know the relation between origin of country and parental leave.

i assume only when i travel abroad i need to carry both old and new passport together according to

Im due for ILR in sept 2011, i have recently renewed my passport, but my valid visa is in old passport, do i need to transfer it to the new passport, i havent gone out of uk since i renewed my passport n dont have any travel plans till sept 2011.
