needs reapplying of brp?

got tier1 visa inside uk in july 2011. also applied for brp and got residency card for two years. and now swtiching to tier2 with certificate of sponsorship from employer . do i need to apply for brp again

yes right now im at tier 2 and submitted application for tier 1. tier 2 is expiring on 15th may and i submitted application on 21 feb thinking that there would be enough time to get final decision from ukba.section 3c shows i can continue to work, at least this is what i got after reading.

ive applied for tier1 general although right now on tier 2. also applied for family same time. susprising is they deducted fee from debit card of mine for dependent applicant only i.e. my wife n kids but didnt deduct fee of mine(main applicant).can any1 guide?
