Dude, i think this just inst a typical enough query, hence no luck with replies. Just get some professional legal advice, i guess this would be your best bet! And, it doesnt have to be the lawyer you were dealing with at first.

1. I did fill in the payment section & they did indeed help themselves to my hard earned pounds but they then kindly refunded me one of them (after a prompt of mine)... 2. Leave expired on 31st of Jan. 3. Rejection received on the 7th of Feb & resubmitted on the 14-15th (cant remember). Got ...

Thanks for the reply! However, dare i comment further that potentially the fact that i was eventually granted a visa was the proof of this "2-stage" application being regarded by HO as 1 continuous application. I used the same application ref number when re-submitting. Would that therefore...

Overstay or not??

Hi all, Upon trying to get my IGS visa a few years ago I did something that will undoubtedly amuse all of you- I missed a box in the application where you declare that you have not participated in war crimes & terrorism etc etc.. Needless to say, this is about the stupidest error one can make, b...

Payslip date vs. Bank Account Credit date

Hi Gang, Has anyone gone through a situation where the date on payslips (called "Tax date" on my ones) does not match the date of credits into the bank account? I have a feeling HO can be pretty analogy about this sort of thing so wanted to get some clarity on that! In my situation the onl...

Exceptional talent or tier 2 i am afraid, while the latter will not lead to settlement... Tier 1 general has been led outside at dawn on a beautiful spring morning, blindfolded, and, without much hesitation got it from both barrels by the new emperors... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... Any oth...

Dude, ur age and/or points dont really matter! What matters,of course, is the fact that it is the 21st of April, which is more than 2 weeks past the date of the official closure of the Tier 1 as we know it. So this is the very last chance! I think u should send it through with ur other card, just be...

Wow, it takes me longer to refresh the page than for you to reply!

So i take one will always get the same points for age as when initially applied...

Why on Earth do we then get a million posts a minute with people shouting they are about to loose their age points.......?

points for age - initial vs extension

I have a funny feeling there isn't enough clarity on whether extensions are assessed based on current age or the age one had at a point of the initial application. From what I understand, if, say, one got 20 points for age in their initial apppication, the same 20 points will be given automatically ...

2 VALID passports- is this normal...?

Hi gang, Here's the situation: My manager keeps on mercilessly sending me to all sorts of weird places and, as a result, i finally ran out of blank pages in my battered passport! Feeling adventurous, i got myself a brand new one back home. The procedure is such that the authorities allow you to keep...

You nailed it on the head there- by opting for the 2 extension route the stress levels should actually decrease - especially knowing that you will get a chance to rectify the situation should anything go wrong! And of course, practice makes perfect! By the time you get to ILR you will be eating thes...

I dont think the requirements for Ext2 will be any different. Here's the outtake from the yestrday's release: The Tier 1 (General) rules were originally constructed to provide for one initial application and one extension per applicant. This does not cater adequately for migrants who wish to apply f...
