I hope it won't be a futile cycle, after the garda report comes, the social welfare is too old and they have to request a new one and so on !!!

One day,

you are right, anything is possible, it's only because my countrymen who applied at the same time like me (one is even earlier by 3 months), haven't heard anything from INIS yet, the only one who got his approval had LTR and he waited for about 3 yrs to get his approval.

Hi one day,

I haven't received anything but at the same time, I haven't contacted INIS since June or July I think ( better for my blood pressure), at that time they were waiting for the garda report which was requested Dec 2010.

Hi patiently waiting, It's difficult to say what to expect, as I already wrote that i know people in the medical field waiting for more than 3 yrs, others who are also medics applied after us and got it, a friend of mine from Egypt applied April 2009 and he got his cert in the ceremony 12th August (...

There were 2-3 people who got approval recently and they said they have been invited for the ceremony on 28th-29th Sep, which means there will be a lot more approvals to come in the next 2 weeks for that ceremony.

Hi catch_hunter, I'm sure there are a lot of things that you can use the 500 euros for, but it seems to me that getting the LTR is definitely worth it, after reading many posts in this form and talking to people & reading minister shatter statements it seems the LTR help to skip the garda check ...

since the changes introduced by the new minister things have moved much faster but i don't think it affected the garda vetting waiting time, but the overall process is faster, my garda report ( under the old regime) was requested exactly 30 months after I submitted my application ( June 2008 to Dece...
